Our policies are thoughtfully designed to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and customer satisfaction. By adhering to these policies, we ensure exceptional service, ethical practices, and your well-being throughout your beauty and transformation journey.

Deposits
To secure your appointment, a deposit of at least 50% is required to be paid when booking online. If an appointment is booked in person or through the phone, this deposit must be paid within 48 hours of the booked appointment. This amount will go towards your overall service cost.
If no confirmation is given through a deposit, your appointment will be cancelled.
Deposits are non-refundable. If a booking needs to be rescheduled or cancelled outside the 48 hour period, the deposit will be put towards store credit for future services or products.

Cancellations
At least 48 hours notice is required for cancellations or reschedules. Failure to provide this notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
Cancellations within 48 hours will incur a cancellation fee or a loss of session for memberships/packages.

​If you change your mind on the day of your appointment, the full price of the service confirmed 48 hours prior will still apply.

Deals and Discounts
Discount codes may only be applied to full-priced services unless stated otherwise. Discounts are not valid on products, packages, memberships, cosmetic injectables, cosmetic tattooing, or already discounted services.
Only one discount, promotion, or offer may be applied per transaction or appointment. Multiple promotions, deals, or codes cannot be combined unless explicitly specified by Empowering Beauty.

Our exclusive deals are available for a limited time only and are subject to change without notice. Once a promotional period ends, we are under no obligation to honour the promotional price. We reserve the right to remove any deal at our discretion or introduce new offers at any time. Availability is not guaranteed, and all promotions are offered while supplies last or during the specified promotional period.

Gift Vouchers can only be redeemed on full-priced services and cannot be used on products, special deals, memberships, cosmetic injectables, or cosmetic tattooing.​

Credit-Issued Gift Card
To make credit usage and expiry easier to manage, we now issue certain types of client credit in the form of gift cards rather than applying them directly to individual profiles. This may include credits from deposits paid, cancellation fees held for future use, or other account adjustments. Using gift cards allows for more consistent tracking, clear expiry dates, and a smoother experience for both clients and staff.

Please note – The following terms apply specifically to these credit-issued gift cards, which differ from the terms and conditions of our standard gift vouchers.

Validity: Credit-issued gift cards are valid for 6 months from the issue date. Expiry dates are strictly enforced and cannot be extended, and any unused balance after the expiry date will be forfeited.

Redemption: Can be used on products, discounted services and promotions – unlike our standard gift cards. To redeem the credit toward a booking or purchase, please contact us directly by phone, or visit the clinic in person.

Tracking: These credits will be tracked via our gift card system and through your personal client profile, rather than manually in individual client profiles. This allows us to monitor expiry and usage with greater accuracy and consistency across our staff.

Partial Use & Balance: If the total value of the credit-issued gift card is not redeemed in a single transaction, the remaining balance will stay on the card and can be used in future visits before the expiry date.

Multiple Redemptions: The gift card may be used across multiple transactions until the full balance is redeemed or the card expires.

Transferable but Non-refundable: These credit-issued gift cards may be transferred to another person if the original recipient is unable to use them. However, they remain non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.

System/Administrative Errors: In the event of a technical issue or administrative error affecting the gift card balance, expiry date, or redemption, the clinic reserves the right to review and correct the gift card details. This may include reissuing the card, adjusting the balance, or cancelling the card if it was issued in error.

Loyalty Program
Our loyalty program rewards you for every eligible purchase made through our booking system, Fresha. Earn points on services, products, and packages to unlock rewards and tier benefits.

Points Accrual: Clients earn 1 point for every $1 spent on eligible services, products, and packages. Points cannot be earned on gift card purchases, gratuities, non-qualifying transactions, or Red Balloon packages. Points are non-transferable, have no monetary value, and cannot be sold or gifted.

Tier Structure & Validity: The EB loyalty program has five tiers, each offering rewards based on points earned, with benefits lasting 12 months from the date a tier is reached. If you move to a higher tier, the 12-month period resets, and your tier status is reviewed on a rolling 12-month basis.

Points Expiry: All points expire 12 months from the date they were earned, regardless of tier status. Expired points cannot be reinstated, extended or transferred.

Rewards are unlocked upon reaching the corresponding tier and must be redeemed within 12 months of unlocking. Unused rewards expire after 12 months, even if points remain. Rewards cannot be combined with other promotions, discounts, or offers, and are not redeemable for cash, credit, or other services/products. Only one reward may be redeemed per transaction, unless otherwise stated.

The EB loyalty program is for personal use only, and is limited to one membership per client. Misuse or abuse (e.g. fraud or sharing perks) may result in removal from the program.Eligibility & Usage:

Program Modifications & Termination: Empowering Beauty reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the loyalty program and its benefits at any time without prior notice. Continued participation in the program after any changes will constitute acceptance of those changes.

Technical Issues: Empowering Beauty is not responsible for technical malfunctions, system errors, or delays that prevent point accrual or redemption.Please contact us promptly if you notice any discrepancies.

Account Responsibility: Clients are responsible for ensuring that their contact details and client profile are accurate and up-to-date to receive updates and rewards.

Inactive Membership: Accounts with no activity for 12 months may be deemed inactive and subject to point and tier expiration.

Packages
Packages are to be paid upfront. Afterpay and Zip Pay are available, as well as the option to bank transfer. Cancellations within 48 hours of the appointment and failure to arrive on time will mean a loss of session. Refunds not available for memberships/packages. Further discounts and vouchers cannot be used on the Package.

For packages that include multiple services, all services must be booked together in the same session. Services cannot be split across different appointments, and failing to do so will result in the forfeiture of the missed session.

Card Surcharge
At Empowering Beauty, a surcharge from 1.4% applies to all payments made via credit or debit cards to help cover the processing fees charged by our payment providers. To avoid this surcharge, clients are welcome to pay by bank transfer or cash. Our surcharge complies with Australian Consumer Law and reflects the actual cost of card processing without exceeding it.

Late Arrivals
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time to allow us to properly prepare you for your treatment. Failure to arrive on time may result in a shortened session. If you arrive 15 minutes past your appointment time, your session may be forfeited, and the deposit will be non-refundable.

Health & Medical Conditions
For your safety and the best treatment outcome, please inform your therapist of any relevant health conditions, allergies, recent surgeries, or pregnancy prior to your appointment. Empowering Beauty will not be held liable for any adverse reactions where relevant information has not been disclosed.

While we strive to deliver the best possible results for all treatments, individual outcomes may vary based on skin type, condition, and lifestyle factors. Results cannot be guaranteed.

No Abuse Tolerated – Client Behaviour Policy
At Empowering Beauty, we are committed to providing a respectful, safe and supportive environment for all clients, staff and practitioners.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of abuse, including but not limited to:

Verbal abuse, shouting, swearing, or intimidation.

Threatening behaviour, harassment, or discrimination.

Physical aggression or inappropriate conduct.

Online or written abuse, including messages, email or reviews.

All clients are expected to treat our staff and team members with courtesy and respect at all times. Failure to comply with this policy may result in.

Immediate termination of your appointment.

Brandpay Rewards Campaign
Brandpay is a platform that lets you earn store credit by posting about your experience with a brand on social media and getting paid per like. By participating in our Brandpay Rewards campaign, you agree to the following terms:

Eligibility is limited to paying clients aged 18+ who have completed a treatment at only our Alphington clinic, with posts from complimentary, influencer, barter, or contra treatments excluded from rewards.

Only one post per treatment visit (maximum one per week) is eligible for rewards, and content must showcase a post-treatment glow or in-clinic moment, a beauty transformation using our services, or a special occasion, couples treatment, or product experience.

Posts must be uploaded to Instagram as a post or reel, tag @empoweringbeautyau in the caption, and come from a public account (which can be switched back to private after processing).

Content must reflect the Empowering Beauty brand with authentic results or genuine experiences, remain free from misleading claims, offensive language, competitor promotion, or damaging material, and may be approved, rejected, or modified at Empowering Beauty’s discretion.

Approved posts earn $0.50 per like (capped at $30), issued as Brandpay credits for use at Empowering Beauty after review and approval, with each client able to earn up to $30 per campaign, subject to budget limits and potential pauses or closure without notice.

Reward dollars can only be redeemed on full-priced services at Empowering Beauty (unless otherwise stated), cannot be used on products, gift vouchers, memberships, packages, exclusive deals, discounted services, cosmetic injectables, or cosmetic tattooing. They are non-transferable, hold no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for money or credit.

By participating, you grant Empowering Beauty a royalty-free, perpetual license to reuse your content (images, videos, captions, or handle) across all marketing channels, including social media, website, email, digital advertising, and print, with credit given at Empowering Beauty’s discretion.

Empowering Beauty may amend, suspend, or cancel this campaign at any time without notice, with participants responsible for complying with Instagram’s terms and advertising guidelines, while Empowering Beauty and Brandpay are not liable for technical issues, personal information will be managed under each party’s privacy terms, and participation does not create any employment, agency, or partnership relationship.
