We chat with long-term client Crystal Rae, as she explains how Lymphatic Drainage Massages at Empowering Beauty transformed her life.
What made you search out for a lymphatic drainage massage?
Crystal: My parents used to have a massage therapist come to their house for lymphatic drainage massages, and they always raved about how much better they felt in terms of functioning afterwards. I’ve been looking for quite some time around the south east of Melbourne, and finally found you guys.
How did lymphatic drainage massages impact your overall well-being?
Crystal: After being sick quite a few times within a 12 month period, I felt like the lymph nodes in my neck and stomach were particularly congested, to the point of them being swollen, painful and noticeable to the eye. With some attention to those areas, the lymphatic drainage massages, I feel, really helped clear them out. I also noticed a significant deep bloat of my stomach, which was unexpected and very delightful 😂 .
"You really feel like you’ve made a wise investment into yourself when you get up from the table and feel immediately better than you walked in."
How have lymphatic drainage massages contributed to your self-care routine?
Crystal: I feel like if I’m going to book something and spend money on self-care, I want to see a difference, and painfully, I want to see it almost immediately. Lymphatic drainage massages do exactly that; you really feel like you’ve made a wise investment into yourself when you get up from the table and feel immediately better than you walked in.
What advice would you offer to someone considering trying lymphatic drainage massages for the first time?
Crystal: Just book it innnnnn 💥💳💥 - especially if you’ve had massages in the past that you feel like haven’t solved an issue you were trying to solve. Lymphatic drainage massages do exactly what the label says; you will walk away with an improvement in the way you feel and function, and we don’t get that with a lot of things these days.
Keep up with Crystal HERE.
